📈 Difficulty
2/10 (This gives you a rough idea of how difficult it is. If you feel it’s actually easier, great. If not, don’t feel bad.)
⏰ Time Estimation
1 Hour (This is a rough estimation that can vary widely. If you’re faster, great. If not, don’t feel bad.)
💪 Action Steps
Get familiar with the chords. Take your time, slowly go through the chords, and make them sound good. Repeat.
Spend a while playing bars 1-2 to get familiar with the picking pattern. Mind the details in the tabs.
Play the piece without time pressure. This is to get everything right except the rhythm (sound, fingerings, picking directions, etc.).
Once comfortable, play the piece with time pressure. Start slow and build it up from there.
✏️ Extra Tips
As always, keep your fingertips close to the fretwires at all times. This gives you the best sound and makes your playing most efficient.
Try playing one hand blind and only watch the other. Constantly looking back and forth will cost you a lot of your attention. (It’s not as hard as you might think. You can do it!)
🎯 Encouragement
This piece is a nice one to have in your repertoire. And you’ll see, it’s a great, open canvas to get creative with. Change up the rhythm, the chords, the tempo, etc. Short: Make it yours. Enjoy!
